Songwriting I

The Piano Bar Sessions + More (The Desperate Texters)

To perform with conviction, to have little doubt is something that comes with practice. I had the great fortune of having my friend Martin convince me to return to Prague to perform on his platform The Piano Bar Sessions. I am glad I was able to capture these songs, and I am happy with most of the performance. I do want to do a better job that I had in this show, and I will have a performance more worthwhile.

Currently, I do not have a full band to perform with, and I wish I did. I had my friends Eddie and Jordan perform with me a year ago, having a band gave me the opportunity to play some of my other songs as well. “Raindrops” is one that developed nicely thanks to Eddie and Jordan. I was hoping we would perform together again last summer in Brockton, but Eddie was not available, and I opted to perform solo.

Here’s a run through of one of my songs “Tongue in Cheek”. We called ourselves The Desperate Texters. I like the idea of changing names for each project, though keeping some centralization… it’s hard to track an artist’s works if they keep changing monikers.
